The problem
The association needed one place where members track their flying skills and status, and where each level, from flyer to examiner, can see and do different things.
What I did
- Built the platform with six roles (Flyer, Instructor, Coach, Trainer, Examiner and Admin), each with its own dashboard and permissions.
- Built skill progress tracking and a three-tier logbook system.
- Built role-upgrade requests with automated email notifications.
- Built a dynamic membership card, a searchable member directory, and in-app notifications using Redux.
Results
- One platform for every member level, with each role seeing only what it should.
- Role upgrades handled through requests and email notifications.
